On the morning of September 14, 2008, Trinity Life Church opened it's doors for the first time. With the help of committed friends and family, TLC launched it's first service at the Swiss Park Banquet Hall in Chula Vista, California.

Pastor Marc Peña, a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary (MA in Theology), along with his wife Mary and their 3 children moved to San Diego in the summer of 2008 to fulfill a lifelong desire and call: To pastor a church whose sole mission and purpose is to help people from all walks of life draw closer to Jesus Christ.

At TLC we believe that there's more to a person than the clothes they wear, the car they drive or where they live. We believe that every person is as unique as their story and that each one of us is searching for a sense of meaning and purpose.
At Trinity Life Church, we believe that religious slogans and entertainment do little to satisfy the deepest needs and desires of our heart. Only through a relationship with God in Jesus Christ can we be made whole.

It is from these convictions that our mission was born. We believe that there is nothing more important than helping
people grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

This is our story.
